mad

Tonight I went shopping in White Plains after work. When I boarded a 13 to go home I glanced at the fleet number as I climbed the front steps. 607! I can't shake loose of this bus all of a sudden.

To make matters worse, I was eager to grab a seat and finish a magazine article I had started reading, so I didn't notice for a while that...the rear door wasn't in use. The operator was even announcing, "Use the front door" approaching stops.

Again?

It might be me. To be honest, I'm not sure in twenty years of riding Bee-Line if I ever really do remember a bus with an inoperative rear door. It might've happened a few times -- like maybe two or three -- but I really don't remember it.

But since I mentioned the problem here.......it's become a common occurence. Damn! frown
