It makes no sense the (A)/(E) trains are WAY more crowded than the N/Q and they still get hand me downs.

Ok Mr. Conspiracist, 207 and Pitkin Yards won't get R160s so the A and C won't run them. The N/Q/W all run out of Coney Island Yard which runs R160s so they all use them.

Bullturd. The B and the D are fine with hippos. And I highly doubt that they are sending R160s to Concourse Yard, the home of the D line.

If any of the IND lines need the R160's, I'd say the express lines do, so I'd put them on the (A) and the (D).

These are contract numbers... they cover other things such as motors, equipment, cranes etc...

Where are they going???

Some of them will go to East New York Yard.
The rest... it could be Jamaica Yard.

Is being an express line a requirement for R160 eligibility?

You mean in my opinion, or according to the MTA?

According to the MTA, evidently not, since the (J), (L) and (M) locals are running R-160's.

The express lines are used to carry riders over longer distances; the local lines are used to carry riders over shorter distances. We're the ones who are paying for the new equipment, therefore, priority should be given to the lines we, the riders, use more frequently.

But the L is a frequently-used line. Express or local designations don't always matter.

Jamaica is already getting R160's,ENY will get 60-64 more cars
to replace the R42 cars there and CI might get more cars after
the R160B option I order.

Don't know if the MTA has worked on it yet.

Why would Coney Island get more cars? It already has 510 cars, that is enough to make the N, Q and W all R160. The rest of them are hippos.

Plus, if they are transferring the ones from CI to Jamaica, then CI would need to replace those.

My guess is they want to make all the lines that go to CI,R160.
that would move the R68/A cars somewhere else.
