Bolt Bus is the latest entrant into low price NY-DC bus service. For their first few days, they offered service for $1 each way. How could I resist?

A DC Metro station

The lights on the platform blink as a train is approaching.

DC Metro trains are carpeted and if you eat or drink, you'll be ticketed.

Buy your Metro tickets at one of these booths.

DC isn't solid rock, so the trains are deep underground.

Interesting, I'd never seen that before. Wonder if I'll ever "earn" mine?

How about water bottle?
Will DC Metro also stop you from drinking water bottle on train/bus?

Metro Transit Police aren't really fond of ANY eating or drinking. I think you can get away with a water bottle as long as you aren't obvious about it.

They have no problems with removing passengers who eat on the system from the vehicle at gun or dog-point.
