LOL BK, when you said "In the Mood" tunes, I thought it was going to be big band stuff like Glen Miller and Benny Goodman. Don't have a clue with these!

28 - Keep On Movin'

31 and 44 are sooooooooooo familiar.

50 - Whenever You Call Me, I'll be there.

That's all I've got.

BTW, BK, when I launch each clip, it plays for a bit, then goes silent and then continues. Why?

Too much modern stuff in this one for me!

#34 is Shining Star by...The Manhattans?

#40 sounds like it'd be a Lionel Ritchie song.

I think I heard Linda Clifford in there somewhere...

#44: Strawberry Letter Number Three by The Brothers Johnson. (That's a good one!)

#45 is somethinjg by James Ingram?

#49: Special Lady by Ray, Goodman and Brown

#50: Float On by The Floaters (Haven't heard that in ages!)

Teddy Pendergas had to be inj there somewhere!

Good ear, credit the group, not as a soloist.

I don't know. What's your default media player there, and is it up-to-date? Open a clip, select "help" or find "About" and post the player and version number.

Does anyone else have similar problems with these clips?

O-K, if 45 isn't James Ingram....then it's gotta be Luther Vandrose!

And if Linda Clifford isn't in there....then it has to be Candy Staton!

I'm not sure which of the samples you're referring to, but neither "If My Friends Could See Me Now" nor "Young Yearts Run Free" are sampled above. Nor are those artists.

Or Peebo Bryson.

Sadly, no frown

That would have been my guess as well, and I'd have been as adamant about it as I would have been wrong. Watch for updates.

I've had that problem too. The problem is that Windows Media Player starts to play it before it's finished downloading.

If you right-click and download it first, it doesn't happen. You can also play it again once it's open - the skip won't be there.

I tend not to listen to multimedia stuff at work, especially since I haven't been there a month yet. wink

Click the clip a second time and it will play fully.

True. You could also change your default buffering to a larger number that would download more of the file before it begins to play.

Oddly enough, I don't have this problem. You might imagine that's due to the files already existing in my cache, but I routinely (and hourly) purge all content via Purge IE pro. I also don't have that problem clicking on other people's clips.

Perhaps someone with more knowledge can chime in here. In any event, Uptown and Dyre Straits are correct. If you right-click and save as, it won't stream, but rather open a local file.
