An altercation on the Q85 bus spilled out to Bedell Street. A group of surly teenage girls provoked a man until he brought out a knife from his back yard and stabbed one of the assailants to death.

I've ridden the Q85 many times. There's always some drama. People regularly cut the line at Jamaica Center. High school kids scream and fight. However, it has never reached this level. I want to call the man a murderer, but it appears that he was attacked. Still, he didn't have to go this far.

back on tuesday, I went to green acres... took the x63, then walked.... of course, being the mall that it is, I didn't find what I was lookin for... so I headed for home...

I'd just missed a bus (couldn't tell what bus it was, as it turned onto sunrise), so I waited for the next bus... after 15 mins later (smh), a Q5 & a Q85 pull up... it had to be after 8pm...

fast forward... two heavy set broads get on @ farmers.... I was the only young dude (young meaning, younger than 40 in this case... lol) on the bus... immediately they start tryna holla @ me (one of the broads didn't pay the fare).... was in one of my moods (since I already missed a bus, and I knew I had to prepare myself for the usual BS w/ the J line), kept givin one word answers to the questions they were askin....

then one of them (the one that paid) stood up over me & started yellin like a damn lunatic... I stand up gettin ready for... anything (one of her hands were in her pants pockets)... the broad that was sitting down, stood up, and pushed my shoulders downward (tryna get me to sit back down)....

... a loud argument started thereafter, both of em kept sayin somethin about G-stack somethin, G-stack somethin (w/e the hell that is)... I said, and I quote "don't you ever in your f****n life put your filthy little f****n hands on me again, you Wish Bone lookin b****... {two ppl. laughed when I said that}... after the laughter died down, & they was like ni**a, who you threatenin.... stared @ both those broads dead in their eyes for like a hot minute... one of them (the one that was yelling) was like, this aint worth it, but n***a best believe on my mother you goin get what's comin to you.... in my head, I was like wtf, yeah that made sense...

I shrugged my shoulders, as they kept sayin w/e after
they got off @ baisley/bedell, before the turn there...


The whole time, the b/o didn't say anything, or stop the bus... he kept driving....


Now if those 2 broads were a part of that group of girls that provoked this man in question.......

I knew this would happen on one of these busy bus routes like the Q85, Q5, Bx28, or Bx6.

You never know , People like to start with other people that don't do nothing, This is starting to piss me off even more because situations like this one happen all the time on other buses, the Q85 is not the only one, the Q6 is so bad that people have to take the original Q6 that goes to JFK instead of the Rockaway bivd one because of GANG activity and the Q111 and Q113 has alot of knuckle heads on there as well, in march a woman got robbed on the bus by 2 dudes!!!! There is alot of stuff I want to say on this thread but it is best to keep it to myself.

those houses out in far rockaway... yup, crips & MS13 is at war out there... it's been like that for years... had a friend that got caught in a crossfire out there, back in 99....

anyway, go 'head & spill it... no need to hold your tongue... ppl. need to know what's good (or in this case, what's bad).... the news will only report a certain extent of it.....

It's bound to happen one day on the Bx28, with both the Truman and DeWitt Clinton kids being there.

Brooklyn is worse, but southeast Queens isn't exactly the land of milk and honey.

Wow. I've had a mental picture that Springfield Gardens and Queens Village were nice and that 225th Street was like a small town main street.....not like Rego Park or Woodhaven at all.
