The F train is Horrible during the week, Weekends Great!!!
The Thing I like about the F line is the Quuens bivd line and the culver line, The F has the best Brooklyn line in the whole system.

At least with the E you can transfer to the 6.

Walking down that long corridor is not that great, taking the R to 59th is way better as the 6 is just above or the 4/5 being right below.

Yeah, with the damn F, you have to get off at Lex-63rd and walk 4 blocks to 59 St. If I can help it, usually, I'd take the F to Rockerfeller and transfer to the D

I don't see what the point of walking to 59th is if you're going uptown. Just walk to 68th, its faster since you don't have to backtrack and THEN wait for a train. If you miss one then you'll know that you would have caught it had you walked to 68th.

3348 is right. 5 blocks is nothing compared to 4 blocks and waiting for a train. Honestly, I don't know why they even bother to mark that transfer from the F to the 6 [and its 59th comrades]. I heard that quite often, it doesn't even work.

Aside from that, the F is an okay train. No extreme complaints. At Rockefeller Center one day, I swear, it was like three F's before one D came.

During the PM rush hour the F often takes 15 minutes to come. F service is lousy.

iono about that...

maybe you're thinking in terms of something else (maybe, scenery; the views you get along the line...), b/c it sure can't be service...

F service is horrid in Queens, but it is not that much better in Brooklyn; to me, service along the F has gotten worse, overall... it used to be a line you could rely on... now it's like... damn, finally the train's here....

Again blame it on the both the "V and E" lines weekdays. Sharing tracks with those 2 routes, causes congestion. and congestion causes those 20-30 minute delays on many occasions.

Even in the AM rush N/B from Brooklyn where there is no conflict with other lines until 2nd Ave where priority is given to crossing empty V's while thousands of commuters are delayed on F's.

I have also waited at Carroll while 3, yes 3, G trains would pass before an F would come down the hill. The F needs serious help. It was the worst part about living in Carroll Gardens.

The (T) is going to be the designation for the Second Avenue line, when (or should I say, if) it opens.

I don't think this is a discussion about the F anymore.
