So basically, regular riders are getting screwed so a few Mets fans can be appeased. Would you say the same if it was for the Yankees? Besides the faster the Mets fans are moved out of the 7 line then the better it would be overall for the 7. The local alone can't handle all the regular riders and Mets fans at the same time.
If there was a Yankees' super express, I would have it as a 4 express, stopping at 125th, 138th, 149th, 161st, 167th, then express to Burnside.

It seems like you might as well add Court Sq, and maybe even the LIC stations since if there is a local (7) in front of a "Mets Express" it will have to wait anyways. But the Court Sq transfer is a good idea. Although you're wrong NX, there is one major transfer station that is bypassed: 74th St! That's the biggest transfer on the (7) but it's a local stop. So that Court Sq transfer would also allow people to change to the E since they can't in Jackson Heights.

Here the press statement from MTA
Beginning tonight immediately after the Mets game, Manhattan-bound 7 Express trains will make one additional stop at the 45th Rd./Court House Square Station. The station, located in Long Island City, will be added to Post Game Express stops at Willets Point, 61st Street/Woodside, Queensboro Plaza, Grand Central, Fifth Avenue and Times Square.
"Post-game express service started up last July and has been a major league hit with riders. The request for an additional stop came up several times during our meet and greets with customers," noted 7 Line General Manager Louis Brusati. "Aside from serving one additional station in Queens, it will give homeward-bound fans the opportunity to transfer directly to the G Line.
Express trains leave Willets Point shortly after the conclusion of each home game and the service runs until about one hour after the game. Express trains are queued outside of Willets Point and arrive on the middle track every six minutes. The travel time between Willets Point/Shea Stadium and Queensboro Plaza has also been shortened by about six minutes compared with the local.
Customers needing help with travel plans to and from Shea Stadium may call our Travel Information Center at 718-330-1234 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, or visit http://www.mta.info to use the Trip Planner feature.
