I'm all for it. It will be a service improvement for Harlem and the West side riders. And a few more jobs for us.

I don't think the 3 will be local with the 1 and 2 already running local. The 3 will probably terminate on the express tracks at Times Square, then relay between there and 34th street, then switch to the uptown express tracks to come back uptown. agree 100% about what the routing will look like. If the TA wanted to create late night service on 7th Ave/Bway line this is what they should have done. *7th Ave/Broadway route late night only under my plan.*#3 Local between 148 St and South Ferry. #2 express in Manhattan 24/7. #1 remains the same. I actually think this is a good idea. Express service is restored and all of Manhattan is served entirely with this plan. It's a win-win for all of the 7th Avenue riders.

The work program should soon be available for us to look over. When I see it, I'll let you all know what exactly it is that the night 3 service is going to do.

The biggest plus is for South Ferry riders heading from SI.
