I think skip stop is not good because the L is local and skip stop would confuse people

The reason that "the had another train" is because one was needed for skip-stop to distinguish the two services.

The L has no need for skip stop service. What time & purpose would it really save & serve for all riders?

If headways were reduced to every 3 minutes, I don't think it would be that bad for the people at skipped stations.

The L train already is too crowded, so running a skip-stop would not help it at all. Just confuse all the foreigners enough as it is. Maybe running it in 2 sections during rush hr might be better. What do those factors have to do with anything? How would running it in two sections help at all? That would just make things worse.

No offense but the idea of skip stop service on the L is beyond pointless. It does not help the majority of riders & will be more hassle than it's worth.
