What are your favorite places to eat, shop and visit using the stations along the (N) Line between Astoria and Coney Island and the (W) Line between Astoria and Whitehall?

In Astoria. I've only been there a few times going to Astoria Pool, but the views of the Manhattan skyline is amazing.

Also, a pizzeria at the Ditmars Blvd terminal (it's Greek!) has whole wheat pizza to help those on the plump side like myself.

Well, 57th Street's right along the N line.

On 7th Avenue and 55th Street, there's this cafe called Fluffy's. My friends and I go there all the time to get snacks and study. It's really awesome.

Ditmars Boulevard - My school that I went to in 6th grade was on 21st street so if I went there for 7th and 8th grade I would take the N/W here. It's interesting seeing the workers clean out the trains and the trains themselves leaving. I like the area too.

Astoria Blvd - Hoyt Avenue - The view is amazing. A pretty unique station as well.

Queensboro Plaza - Good place for taking pictures.

(60th Street tube)

Times Square - I like this area of the subway in general because I like the renovation turnout and just simply walking around.

Herald Square - Pretty interesting as well

Union Square - One of my favorite stations (as in the whole complex)

Canal St - If you got an R40 and railfanned the bit before this you'd see why it's interesting.

(The Manhattan Bridge, a given)

The interlocking after the Manny B...

Right after 36th Street, where the N goes outside onto the Sea Beach line

Finally, Coney Island. Wonderful work of architecture.
