Congrats to Roku too. Though, I don't know if Sebbie wants that mentioned on his thread.

A lot of construction across the city seems to be going a a very slow pace almost if nothing has been done. It isn't just Columbus that is like that.

Charging different fares depending on whether a train is express or local is, frankly, more unfeasible than zoned fares. I'm against zoned fares as well though.

There's at least two sets running now. Despite what OP says, there's still bums and it's already getting a tad filthy. Yesterday, one of the overhead LED signs was going haywire displaying a static pattern instead. Still more kinks to work out.

If N runs local on weekdays via B-way especially rush hours then it will hold up both Q/R at crossover between Prince and Canal St stations.

Well now that your are a mod sebbie, can you do something about those game threads like maybe giving them their own forum or maybe try to get some of them erased. Something like 'clear the clutter'?

To the OP: 18 years of suffering? Jeez, it's just a train. And the R42's breaks aren't that much better either.

Yes, R42 4811 explained it, as those R42's stopped at the very front of the platform, which means you have to run towards the last car if you were at the other end of the platform.

What about the B/W lines a few years ago, when they still had R42's and R40M's?

Why would they complain? The N has been running over the bridge for 4 years now. Meanwhile it ran for almost 2 decades via the tunnel. If they don't like going thru the tunnel they can transfer for the Q at Dekalb and take it over the bridge.

I was saying when C used R40/42 you had to run up to catch it, not like when it uses R32/38 when you don't have to run up far.

Well duh, it was never meant to be a terminal. It was supposed to have extended further down Nostrand. It also doesn't help that the bumpers is right at the end of the platform meaning trains have to slow to a crawl into the station.
