I saw the Q38 having buses from College Point Depot. And I've seen old Triboros with 3 numbers on the bus, like 112 or something. What is up with the change?

The Q38 is now under the wing of College Point Depot.

It's not really a "bus mixup" per se. The Q38 along with the Q19 now call College Pt Depot home. Seeing CNG O5's is kind of like a throwback to their Triboro days. The bus marked 112 isn't an old Triboro. They're ex-Bee-Lines buses that the MTA bought

And buses like 709 are from Spring Creek.

Ah, ok. I just thought it was weird, as I saw Q67 hybrids. And the B13 has the newer hybrids ("Please exit thru the rear door.") The depots are changing before our eyes.

The 100-series buses you are seeing were brought from Bee Line. They are from 1995-96. Half of them are at LGA depot and the other half are at Baisley Park.

As part of a recent bus route swap, the Q67, Q100 and Q101 went to LGA depot from CP while the Q19 and Q38 went to CP from LGA. This was a follow-up to a recent bus swap in the fall where the Q102, Q103 and Q104 came to LGA from CP and the QM10 and QM11 went to CP from LGA.

Ive been on the ex beeline buses running on the Q53 line..feels a bit strange but offers a lot of seating!!

And we can't stand this route ,We should of gotten the rest of triboro's EXP not more locals

I never understand why the Q38 went to CP. It was better off at Grand Av or Fresh Pond

Yes I LOVE these ex Bee Line buses. They offer lots of seating just like the old ex-Jamaica RTS buses and such. Less standee room, but still lol. I like how these buses have the doors contolled by the driver b/c I don't like pressing the tape b/c the doors open too slow and the people behind me are always in a rush, and pushing the door is too heavy for me. But anyways these buses are fast and I hope they stay at Baisley Park. The destination signs on the outside are cool also

They can't switch entire bus routes between MTA Bus and NYC Bus yet. Once MTA Regional Bus continues to develop it should become a possibility. Had it gone through you would've seen even more route swaps.
