With the growth of pagers, fax machines, cellular telephones and computers, we've come a long way from the days when (212) covered all five boroughs.

I had an idea: you know those video displays on the R160s? Why not put a webcam in the motorman or conductor's cabin so whenever he/she needs to talk to the passengers, theres a webcam to broadcast over the displays. Also had the idea of having a camera on front of the trains like on the Airbus A380:




The MTA could film the front cab train footage at the transit museum.

I am sick so I won't be on here that often when I am sick but will be watching as a guest.

I'll change the diapers as long as the E doesn't go local tomorrow morning. By the way my best friend's having a baby so i'll probably be changing his diapers also. Que Vaina =(

If I had my way, Citi Field would be a multipurpose stadium that can hold baseball and football for the Mets and the Jets sharing the field. It would also have a retractable roof so it could be used in all weather and do something about the noise of jets landing at LaGuardia. However, such a stadium with a retractable roof would be hideously expensive. If the Mets and Jets have games on the same day, you could just move the Mets over to Yankee Stadium or the Jets to the Meadowlands.

The Jets used to play at Shea Stadium for a while. With my idea, we'd have a football team in the five boroughs again. I wonder why no one thought of this.

I guess everybody was just so wound up about having the Jets on the West Side and also that the Mets owners wanted a baseball purpose built stadium...

I had a little falling out with the guys at NYCTF. I'm going to cool off for a week before returning.

Don't take it so seriously man, no one over there did. It's not so serious to warrant taking a break but if you feel that it would help you out then by all means go ahead.
