Anyone hear today that Benard Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in jail without parolee?

He deserves forty lashes.

Hell was gonna freeze over before he got the 12 year sentance his lawyer wanted. He deserved more then 150, but since he's gonna spend the rest of his life in the slammer anyways, let him rot there.

I don't see him 'suffering much'. He'll probably be put in some mid level security prison and probably kept under watch to make sure no one kills him in prison. I'd hate to imagine one of the prisoners being ripped off by Madoff, they'll hold a grudge for sure.

If this society is so against the death penalty, that sort of act would not be allowed either.

A quick death would be too good for him.

Madoff and every other corporate prick should be hung in public. Public humiliation should be brought back.

The question is where will Madoff do his time? Will it be a country club prison with Cablevision and golf or Ossining and a case of Astrolube?

Let's keep him alive on the IV while he suffers. It's not technically torture.

Too bad we can't give Bernie life extension treatments so that he actually SERVES the entire 150 years, and croaks a month before his release date.

Well sadly the politicians are. Though I do support the death penalty, giving him a 'quick death' would be 'too good for him'. Let him suffer in prison with the other inmates.
