To celebrate, the Municipal Art Society will host an exhibit entitled, "Straphangers Campaign: 25 Years of Transit Advocacy." The exhibit will highlight the Campaign's work with riders since 1979 to improve city transit. On Wednesday, September 29, 2004, colleagues and supporters will gather for cocktails, conversation and a toast to past and future victories.
